Dave and Mike spent a rewarding, yet tiring day at Pendragon School in Bromley with over 30 pupils who gave their all to learning about the Slave Trade through drama, movement, song and dance!
Pendragon is a Special Secondary School, and our group was made up of year 7s and 8s. Their understanding of the issues around the slave trade came from interesting angles at times but overall - the group grasped some of the horror of the middle passage and the way in which our African brothers and sisters were treated.
We put on a performance in the afternoon to some eager parents, and received rightful praise for their hard work. Excellent work you guys! More pictures of the day here
